About Veer Pratap
Veer Pratap, Director of Air Freeze Refrigeration, has over 28 years of experience in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and over 15 years of Electrical Experience. His journey to becoming a leader in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry began in Fiji, where he received his initial qualifications and training as a technician. Veer had a natural talent for diagnosing faults in systems like air conditioners and refrigerators and repairing rather than completely replacing them. This problem-solving mindset, combined with his curiosity, brought him to Alice Springs, Australia, where he leveraged his knowledge and expanded his skill set.
During his time in Alice Springs, Veer served for three years as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician. His hunger for mastering the trade is what motivated him to go above and beyond—working 15-20 unpaid hours each week on top of his full-time role. This consistent dedication to honing his skills paid off when he was offered an opportunity to move to Tamworth. In Tamworth, Veer continued to work as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician, and pursued his passion for electrical work as a full-time electrical apprentice. After completing a four-year apprenticeship, Veer became dual-trade qualified—a fully trained and certified Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician as well as a licensed Electrician.
